Heavenly Beings: Icons of the Christian Orthodox World

A sumptuous hardback to accompany the exhibition Heavenly Beings: Icons of the Christian Orthodox World, which had its first iteration first at Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki in 2022 and was curated by Dr Sophie Matthiesson. The exhibition is now on view in an expanded format at Museum of New and Old Art (MONA), Tasmania until 1 April 2024.

Lavishly illustrated with 152 full-colour pictures of religious icons and other special objects from all over the Eastern Christian world.
