Product Detail

Known for his use of expressive colours and bold forms, the Fauve artist Henri Matisse is one of the most influential artists of the 20th century. Although best known as a painter, he initially made works with cut pieces of painted paper as preparatory models for larger decorative commissions. By the late 1940s, his paper cut-outs had become a central focus of his work, reducing form and colour to their absolute essence. Inspired by his graphic, simplified forms, this colourful umbrella can brighten up even the heaviest of downpours.
