Pounamu is the Māori name given to New Zealand greenstone which is considered a taonga (treasure) and is intended to be gifted and passed from one generation to the next. Carved from translucent green stone, these small earrings are a subtle and lovely way to wear this beautiful treasure.

Each piece of pounamu jewellery has been made by hand and is one of a kind. Variations in the colour and shape of the pounamu stone may occur as a result. This only adds to the unique beauty and character of each piece.
