Davina Duke Large Terracotta Vase

From Papatūānuku to pottery, Davina Duke (Ngāti Wai, Ngāti Rehua, Te Whānau Whero, Te Akitai, Patuharakeke) hand-builds and paints upon her pots with the spirit of te ao Māori (the Māori world) at her fingertips. Duke’s beautiful ceramic creations express her connection to her whenua (land) at Takahiwai and honour the established foundation of uku (clay) artists before her.
