Complete with sterling silver hooks, these beautifully carved Teardrop Earrings are a perfect gift for any friend in need, even if that friend is you! Imbued with centuries of legendary prestige and revered as taonga (treasure), pounamu is the Māori name for greenstone found in the eponymous Te Wai Pounamu, ‘The Water of Greenstone’, or what is known in English as New Zealand’s South Island.
