Silver Star Earrings

Inspired by the forms in Henri Matisse’s paper cut-out work Icarus, 1947 these star studs by SOPHIE Store are a celestial accent to any outfit. Invigorated by the ability to ‘draw directly in colour’ with scissors on paper, Matisse produced a staggering number of cut-outs, reducing form and colour to their absolute essence.
