This lightweight scarf features the vividly coloured Mediterranean landscape beloved by French artist André Derain (1880–1954). This work, titled Paysage à l’Estaque, was painted shortly after the first Fauvist exhibition at the Salon d’Automne debuting works by Henri Matisse, Maurice de Vlaminck, and Derain.
