Love Fool Icarus Earrings
Love Fool Icarus Earrings
Known for his use of expressive colours and bold forms, the Fauve artist Henri Matisse is one of the most influential artists of the 20th century. Although initially made as preparatory models for larger decorative works, by the late 1940s, his paper cut-outs had become a central focus of his work, reducing form and colour to their absolute essence. Inspired by his graphic, simplified forms, these playful earrings by Ōtautahi jeweller Love Fool are a fabulous pop of colour for any outfit. Designer and founder Mel Brown started her career as a chef but has since switched from slicing slivers to smithing silver and carefully handcrafting each treasure.
