Rhona Haszard’s The Road to Little Sark was painted in 1930, one year before her premature death in Egypt. Little Sark is a peninsula forming the southern section of the Channel Island of Sark, in the southwestern English Channel. Haszard’s painting depicts the steep road leading up to the small Island, depicted in a fractured mosaic of patched colour.
