Tjanpi Desert Weavers Learn to Weave Kit

Ever wanted to learn to weave a basket of your own? This Learn to Weave kit includes everything you'll need to get started. 

The Tjanpi Desert Weavers produce these spectacular woven baskets. This social enterprise represents over 400 Aṉangu/Yarnangu women artists in the remote Central and Western desert regions who earn an income from contemporary fibre art. Made of tjanpi (grass) and raffia, these baskets are a physical manifestation of a cultural practice fundamental to Central and Western desert populations.
