Whānau Ariki

Whānau Ariki are celestial beings, the children of Urutengangana, God of Light, embodying stars, planets, and the Sun and Moon. Crafted from resin by Tāmaki Makaurau-based artist Messini Palace, these colourful cubes are cast from vintage carvings once made for the tourist market. Reimagined by Palace, these Whānau Ariki are infused with new life. Perfect as a keepsake or as stackable sculptures, these cubes blend tradition with contemporary artistry.
