Auckland Art Gallery Magazine: Art Toi Special Edition

This special issue of Art Toi includes two richly illustrated essays. The first tells the story of the incredible gift of 15 European masterworks made by Josie and Julian Robertson to Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki. The second essay is a curator’s tour of the beautiful exhibition, The Robertson Gift: Paths through Modernity, which combines works from the Robertson Gift with paintings, works on paper and sculptures from the Gallery’s international modern collection. This souvenir Art Toi illustrates the contribution philanthropy plays in the Gallery’s storytelling and how art connects people.
