Rerehua Boutique Bracelet He Rā Hou Tēnei

Founded by sisters and educators Ashley Pihema and Kelly Pihema-Berridge (Kai Tahu, Ngāti Kahu, Ngāti Whātua and Ngāpuhi), Rerehua Boutique was born from a desire to share their love for Aotearoa New Zealand’s Indigenous reo (language), tikanga (customs) and mātauranga (knowledge). Each of their beautifully crafted taonga (treasure) is engraved with a whakataukī (proverb) or karakia (ritual chant), enfolding the wearer in a kaupapa (philosophy) and a personal story that uplifts and inspires. From ‘He rā hou tēnei’, an affirmation to be grateful for a new day, to ‘Whanake Te Toi’, an affirmation to prosper the arts, each piece is thoughtfully designed to stand with you every day – helping you feel confident, empowered and proud as you whakanui (uplift) the Indigenous reo and heritage of Aotearoa.
