SOPHIE Store is a lifestyle brand based in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. Named after founder Belinda Cannon’s daughter, SOPHIE Store creates limited editions of timeless jewellery, accessories and apparel. For the occasion of Picasso: Designed by Paul Smith, Toi o Tamaki has collaborated with Belinda to create three boxy tees inspired by the classic Breton stripe shirt. The Breton stripe T-shirt was the official uniform of the French Navy from 1858 and was later transformed into high fashion by Coco Chanel who included the striped top in her 1917 nautical collection. Picasso was famously photographed wearing a Breton shirt, making it not just a staple of his wardrobe but also his identity. Add some artistic flair to your outfit.
